Intro to Canning

A couple weekends back, I took a canning class, taught by Marisa of Food in Jars. She has been teaching canning for several months now, and I was happy to get the opportunity to learn from her. We did a hands-on class in canning tomatoes, and I can tell you that it was easy and fun to do. I’m going to try to do this on my own soon.
No photo of the jar of tomatoes I produced that day (I gave it away to some friends of mine), but Marisa’s written up an informative post here, which covered what we learned in class. Thanks, Marisa!
